Panforte:Delicious Italian confection with nuts, honey and spices to serve with mulled wine or any drinks- traditionally Vin Santo or coffee. It is a little like nougat although the literal translation is 'Strong Bread', so you need to cut this with a proper knife on a board. Made to a well researched recipe, in small batches in Faversham.
Has a long shelf life until well after Christmas (packs are dated). Min 125g, serves 8-10 treat sized pieces.
